| During a match, I've noticed that I'm always pressing either a punch or a kick (either light or medium, never heavy) even if I'm on the opposite side of the screen. How often do you guys do this? And is it a bad habit of me for doing this? I dunno, just a random question I would like to hear your opinions on | |

| I do this sometimes but it's usually for a reason. If I'm using a charge character like Chun or Gen (Crane) it's usually to time my charges for fireball or Oga. If I do it with a non-charge it's usually like a mini taunt after I see the other person not doing anything. For example, sometimes I press jab 2 times as a way of saying "ha ha" or something like that lol. Also, I do it to test if there's any lag in the match. Most of the things I do in matches have a reason, nothings random with me lol. But I don't think it''s a bad habit it just keeps you on your toes. | |

| I can agree with the testing lag thing, cause even I'll do that with jab jab. If my opponent is particularly grab happy, I may sit full screen an wiff a few grabs to get my point across. But aside from those, and full screen normal I do is entirely on accident, lol | |

| ... I just see it as part of footsies really. If an opponent's likely to do a move to close distance rapidly this can be a deterrent. Especially if you poke them out of their move. Other times, you can do a slow poke and bait them into closing in, only to throw something light when they move in to open em up. I find myself mostly doing this against Blankas. As the guy's I play have a hard time with him.
Across the screen and waiting I'll do a dodge taunt (Adon's 9 or Fei's 5) or just keep backdashing out of FA.
This doesn't really apply to who I play here, cause we all seem pretty strongly about bringing the fight to each other. (for better or worse:)) | |

| OMG I totally agree with that last statement, I was fighting a Zangief mainer and (being me) I would use a lot of characters and when I was using Cammy, I should have waited it out but that's not my style and I just rushed in...I lost several times (but it was close cause he didn't seem used to being under a heavy assault from a Cammy and normally has to chase instead) | |

| It's not a bad habit. Often it a tense match you can get an opponent to react if you a random normal. Like Rai said I think it's a part of footsies. | |

| Lol, yea, if I see an Akuma user fail a demon, I'll go full screen and do the inputs at them a few times | |

| not a bad habit if it's fullscreen, but if you're right next to someone and doing it, you're likely to get counterhit if they pick up on it | |
