Changes to SSFIV

specific points I like to put my two cents on:

Guile:
Sonic Boom does not build super meter.
Not that I'm a Guile player but that's stupid

Bison:
U2 now charge motion, way more recovery
good, it was way too powerful

Cammy:
"tiger-knee Canon Strike no longer possible"
that's bs!

Blanka:
Blocked Blanka Ball now recoils at half the distance, much easier to punish.

Losing the TK Strike isn't that bad I think. You can still do it if you jump so it's not that bad, and EX can still be done so who knows if the person who tested did it right. At least she got a buff with her normals. Idk why they took out the Sonic boom meter build...that's just beyond stupid. If anything change how much the move builds meter. As for Bison, Idc it didn't seem that good nor was it OP. I'm patiently waiting on Gen news. Glad Chun hasn't changed much and I hope they keep it that way. Also, glad Juri is getting some buffs Can't wait for Yang!!!!

yeah, Juri able to have both the foot and the fireball combo is awesome
hopefully they add something to Fuerte, he needs something

I really don't mind the Seff nerf, I hardly ever use that attack anyways, except against turtles.

yeah, I rarely use j. HP...Fuerte losing damage though on his ultra hurts

they totally destroyed Fuerte! he was already bad but now he literally has nothing going for him

they nerfed chun li!! but i feel like the changes arent too big, just that chun li will have to work harder. lol as for ken, its a bittersweet relationship.

Chun's didn't get nerfed that bad imo. The FA change isn't much and her cr. hk and st. mp aint much neither. Her worst nerf was her Down-Toward + Light Kick, which is an ok AA option. Fuerte got nerfed HARD.... consider Chun VERY lucky.

Blanka: can combo from overhead now, great; otherwise a few nerfs to make him more manageable to fight against which is good

Abel: took a lot of damage nerfs and his U2 was downsized a lot (I always found his roll not too bad, that's gonna hurt him even more)

Gen: got a lot of good things: target combos, faster frames; looks good!

Makoto: got a ton of buffs (like her dashes needed more speed? geez!) she's gonna be a contender (still doesn't warrant me playing her though probably lol)

Blanka changes are welcomed, Abel didn't need all that nerfing just lose the super armor on Breathless was enough for me. Everything else was overkill.

Makoto is looking great but I doubt I would pick her up for that, seems like everyone will bandwagon her when AE comes out. Plus why is she the only female with 1000 HP?

While I'm happy for Gen, I expected more. I want his old vanilla jump back and some Crane changes other than the useless U2s. Still sticking with my ladies

For the record, I'm not bandwagoning Makoto. Just wanna throw that out there, as I've always liked her, but just recently picked her back up for god knows what reason.

I knew that, I like her too but I can't play her for crap. I was mostly pointing out the ppl over at SRK. Which is stupid cuz 99.9% of them won't stick with her lol.

Yeah, after Evo, Adon was soooo popular, but then, soon forgotten.

I'm still learning Adon (to no avail lol)

Makoto WAS going to be one of my new mains, but when super dropped, and I played her, she just lacks in so many areas. If theses changes bring her up to snuff in AE, I'll deffinetely put some more time into her.

I was also excited for Adon, but ehh, not my bag, lol

Guile: All his moves were basically nerfed in damage and his meter gaining is lessened...isn't looking good

Seth: A lot of good basically, his j. HP is reverted to a normal HP but that's fine, a lot of his moves became faster and recover faster, his health and stun increased, his overall game seems better (from appearances)

DJ: I don't even know where to begin. He has sooooo many changes, we will need Dami to help us with what happened (though it seems like it's all good)

Hakan: The one I'm most excited about, seems like he will be a dangerous grappler now

DJ = New Guile, that's what I say. Dami's happy but is worried that ppl may flock to him lol. I can honestly say that DJ got some serious buffs that will make him a tougher character to deal with...as if it wasn't tough enough already

I've been on the Makoto... her buff's'll make people go to er. but they'll quit em. I've got her back in the queue
