Name your team and why you chose them
Viper/Morrigan/Deadpool

Viper: She is just as tricky in MVC3 as she is in SSFIV. She is able to feint all her special attacks, she can seismo chain, she can cancel the first frame of her Thunder Knuckle to continue into a longer combo string, she can combo from a special into an EX move to cause more damage, and she has an AMAZING Air Dash (8 Way, the best!). She takes a lot of skill to use but I can't wait to learn her. Her focus attack is even better in this game cause it can absorb all hits before it releases Razz

Morrigan: I mainly use her Dark Harmonizer to help gain meter. I constantly bring her out to give Viper more meter to use her EX moves. When actually using her, all her moves (including specials) can be canceled into flight, extending her combos or to have a quick escape. She also has a great OS with her command grab. If it whiffs, she instantly goes into flight mode for an escape or to put on extra pressure.

Deadpool: I know that you are all thinking "Figures" but he suites my team well since this team is well rounded when it comes to zoning (and he is one of the best). And with Morrigan constantly filling up my hyper gauge, combo'ing into his Happy-Happy-Trigger is easy. Plus, his attitude is sick! he is so crazy!

Wolverine (berserker barrage) , Hagger (lead pipe), Doom (molecular shield)

Wolverine: He's extremely fast and aggressive rushdown, and that's always been the type of player I have been. He has a bunch of close mixups, and high damage bnb off any type of hitconfirm into launcher. When one of the opponents peeps is killed off and another comes in, I combine dooms assist with wolverines crossup claw, which creates a sweet mixup which I can then cancel into a special, taking off 1/3 of their life right out of the gate.

Hagger: Uhm, he's the manliest man to ever wear suspenders and carry a pipe. I pretty much only use him because he's a badass who likes to smack people in the head with a fistful of lead. He has high vitality, does incredible damage, and has a decent high low mixup involving the pipe/empty jump go low, especially with projectile assist.

Dr. Doom: Great assist for my others, good zoning, awesome combos (if I can ever get them off lolol). He's not the most mobile of characters, but he can sure piss people off with his various projectiles and dive kicks. Plus he's a freaking baller.

(Very much subject to change. I pretty much don't know how to play the game yet xD)

X-23: I just really like her speed and mobility options.

Deadpool: I like the way he plays, but the main reason I chose him is because I'm a pretty huge fan of his comics =D

Zero: Once again, I just like the way he plays. I'm getting a bit sick of him though because it feels like I'm just trying to land S or H to get a combo in when I play him.

If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know!

Amaterasu: Freakin sweet. Fast. Cheap. Low hitbox, fast normals that combo pretty nicely. I wish I knew what Hyper 2 did. Hyper 1 is pretty decent damaged when combo'd into and even by itself, awesome for hitting someones assists with. Especially when you super jump a 3 team hyper combo while in X factor :p. Other reasons I haven't found out yet.

Zero: He's got the mobility I like. And I find myself pretty fluid with his combos. Maybe all those years of MMX are paying off. Neutral jump H to st M to fwd H to S is pretty nice and leads to all sorts of options. I'm still no good with V-ism style stuff, so I don't burn meter using it.

Deadpool: PINEAPPLES!

/

Chun: I can mash out Legs and go into super every single time :p. X Factor Chun is retarted. In a good way. Maybe I'll actually learn to combo with her sometime.

Ammy's hyper 2 slows the opponent down, like Viewful's grab hyper.

I really like Ammu but I don't have the patience to learn more than a few characters at the moment...like I did with SF, I'll learn each character one at a time (which will take awhile but I have nothing but time)

In other news.. Dr. Doom is freaking awesome. The Buktooth loop is so satisfying to pull off in a match, and I'm starting to get a hang of his zoning as well. I don't care if I never get good, this game is fun as hell.

Working on a new team, it is going to contain x-23 and tron. Tips on 3rd character? I've got my otg assist in x-23, and tron is beasting with gustaff flame, so I'm fairly covered from there. but who to pick..

ATM my reserve team is:
X-23/Trish/Morrigan

X-23: Good OTG that can help my other two continue combos. I'm liking her speed and pressure. What a Face

Trish: Her traps are awesome and can do great chip with her Round Trip/Harvest. Her dive kick is awesome too, I just wish it hit overhead Laughing

Morrigan: Same reasoning as Mince, plus her clone hyper is a great way to mess with your opponent.

Possible subs:

Chun Awesome dmg from her Legs and launcher combos. I'm starting to figure out her dash combos which is pretty tricky.

Viper: Pretty much the same thing as Mince said, but I mostly use her for OTG but I'm liking how you can feint all her moves especially her BK.

Felicia: Her combos are fun and challenging. Her command grab and her Kitty's Helper hyper gives her plenty of mixup and pressure. And she can build meter just like Morrigan.

Tron: A lot of fun with her combos. She really packs a good punch.

Hsien-Ko: Just started with her, but she's very unique with her projectiles. Her dash/teleport is awesome also.

lolol I've changed up my team again. Right now I'm going Deadpool, Dr. Doom & Zero.

I didn't really put much thought into it. X-23 just didn't feel like she was working in my old team. I started playing around with other characters. First I tried Iron Man, then Ryu, but once I realized how incredible Doom's plasma beam assist was, I just knew I had to have him. He seems to work really well in my team.

I'll have to put together another team that X works in. I really liked playing her.

I changed up my team a bit: Viper, Storm and Morrigan. I added Storm cause she is extremely fast and I love her hurricane assist (get to that damn wall!). As much as I love Morrigan, I might be switching her out cause I need a better assist for my Viper. I just don't know how to approach my opponents and Morrigan is just not helping.

I've finally got my team together (X-23, Trish, Morrigan). I think I'll be having the same trouble with Morrigan as you Mince but I'm gonna try and figure something. If I can't get nothing, I may go back to Chun-Li or something lol

Morrigan is great for Storm, power up the meter with her assist to Hail Storm the playing field constantly. This just might be my team...just gotta practice with Storm more first since her combos are basic and she doesn't have too many safe moves (though apparently her pokes are great).

I haven't tried online just yet, but when I do I'll let you know. Tbh I'm pretty sure I'll get my ass kicked so bad that I won't be able to do any combos Laughing Btw what kind of combos are you doing with her?

Think I'm gonna either switch to iron man or wolverine online instead of x23 unless i can find good connections, their stuff is a bit easier to pull off
