Characters you wanna use?

What are some characters you really wanna learn, but it's either too hard for you to adapt or you just can't progress with them? I'd say gen, or seth, but seth walks too slow and there's too much stuff to learn with gen.

Right now Makoto. She's hella slow and her footises are meh. Learning her kara-karakusa in the midst of battle and her weak feints is also a ton (Viper>Makoto).

After her, it'll be Blanka.

right now, Fei Long most definitely. For the life of me, I try to land them links...just recently am starting to get a lil hang of it (standing Fierce into Chicken Wing, how I wish to land you!!!!). but even then, my poking, combos, punishes and all that need work.

also kinda wish I woulda stuck with Juri back in Super...she was mad fun. but back then I was (and still am) in a heavy comfort zone with Blanka.

Balrog is one I would mos def wanna learn as well, tho Ima prolly wait til I get me a stick to play him.

yeah, those 3 would be ones I would love to learn myself.

Firece into CW is easy, your CW has to be light though, there isn't much of a reason to use this combo however. Hm. Play me for Fei. Though... I don't really play an orthodox Fei by any means. I can help instruct combos on Fei timing, even those I don't use.

Juri has great combo potential, just set ups are tricky to me with her.

And to answer the question...

I really wanted to play Gen. Just ain that good with him.

wait, my bad...I meant the other way around...Chicken Wing linked INTO Standing Fierce...then follow up with Rekkas or Flame Kick. lol. also have trouble with the jabs and shorts into Rekkas...tryna get the hang of it, but in real matches I'll drop em on a consistent basis.

not at home at the moment tho...if I can get home early enough tonight, I'll def be on. if not, for sure tomorrow evening/nighttime. could def use some help with Fei!

Viper, but I don't want to put THAT much effort into another character again...though I am going to actually be putting into effort into learning BISOOOOOOOON!

plink the FP after cw, hit mp or lp a second before you hit the FP, gives another frame so a 1 framer becomes a 2 framer. The cancel to rekka or FK is simple hit confirm after that.

about a week ago and before then, I woulda had a "whaaaat?" face whenever somebody mentioned "Plink".

but ended up running into a plinking tutorial vid this past week tho...and now I know what you're talking about! never thought of doing that. def going to the lab in a bit after this hangover...haha.

(if I tried to roll both punch buttons into Fierce, would that make it 3 frames? or only works by rolling only jab OR strong into fierce?)

Fei is easy to me.. Maybe cause i choose not to get too far into his gameplay..

If Fei is easy to you, you haven't put much time into his links As for me, it'd probably be Viper, Evil Ryu and Ibuki. Ibuki and Viper pretty much fall in the same predicament for me, their SJC cancels and lack of good normals hurt my willingness to learn them.

Also, Viper's feints give me a bit of trouble that I don't have much patience to practice all the time Evil Ryu just seems like a half-ass Akuma/Ryu build that is missing key pieces to make him stand out. Maybe, I'll take some time off from my mains and try them out one day....

Let's do it! Also I wanna pick up yun... He's so fun and i win alot with him but idk if its luck or if i should pick him up..

I would like to be better with Fei Long. I also want to have his Ultra alt and for him to be a weaker character.
