| copped it the other day, It's a nice port. I never really got into 3, to me it was always kinda dull or something. i can't describe it. but it is Street Fighter so I picked it up this time. the controls are MUCH tighter than ssf4. I don't think there is ANY leniency for specials. I spent a little bit in training mode and I could really feel the strictness of the controls. Sometimes I would try to throw a DP and it wouldn't come out, then I would go "I pressed F > D >DF+P!!...Why didn't it come out?? then I would try it again but put more timing into it. Then the game would say to me: "You didn't press that the first time!!" So this tells me that playing this game would really help my execution of specials a lot! In sf4 you can mash anything and SOMETHING will come out. and I don't think there is any mashing in SF3. In my opinion, playing this game will help me get better at ssf4 (as far as inputting special moves). Hope all this makes sense | |

| Fight me james!
The only... 'mashing' is "pianoing" supers.
Basically running your fingers over each punch and letting go almost simultaneously. The initial press and the negative edging gives your super six frames or so worth of chance of coming out.

| im having a blast with that Denjin-Hadouken swag....haha. most of my free time this past week has been dedicated to Arcade and Training Mode (with a lil bit of Trials and Online on the side).
I usually avoided shotos for the most part in Street Fighter (except when I was a wee lil tyke...where I believed the game cheated me anytime I lost with Ryu....lol)....but Im luving figuring out ways to use the Denjin.
I love the concept of Necro....but holy crap, difficult to use...and AMEN to the lack of leniency in this game. also spent more than an hour on Gill alone (stars MAX difficulty).....cheap ass mofo.
but yeah, then I went online...went streaking for a lil bit til I ran into higher ranked Ken's, Chun's, Yun's, Dudley's, etc., etc...I still have a looooooooooong ways to go. been mad fun tho so far.
