DSB Rivals?

Do you consider that you have a friendly rivalry with one of your fellow DSB members? I would think that having a rival makes you step up your game and figure out what's missing in your playstyle. I would have to say that Damijer would be my rival, being as that he helped me majorly on my ground game and made me play a lot more patiently.

If I had to guess for other DSB members it would probably be:

Mince & Pabbs

Leon & Tracey

Fei & Mac

DG & Figgy


In the end we're all rivals to each other since we're always trying to better one another. But who do you guys think your main rival(s) are?

I would definitely have to say Pabbs

he's been my rival ever since the good 'ol Gamefaqs days (wow I miss those days, so long ago...) funny thing was, Pabbs and I were named number one rivals of the forums

Those groupings seem to fit...just wish we had more people to add to that list

I don't see Figgems as a rival though. Mince is my biggest rival, mainly 'cause no matter how much I improve, he's always 6 steps ahead of me, lol

Heck, me an Pabbs have more of a rivalry than me an Figgy, cept ours is more of a verbal rivalry, lol

Figgems is more like, wotever the oposite of a rival, we get along to well, and our matches are always no pressure.

I love fightin everybody from the chat, although the sessions don't seem to last very long, I don't think everyone likes fighting me as much tho, lol

I enjoy fighting you DG. I'd consider you a rival in the Sak department. You know so much more with her.

I play Smooth alot, and doing so has helped me improve, especially since I know when I mess up, I'm eating a good combo every single time. Sam applies to Mince.

Mac, what can I say, we trade wins alot, and I gotta figure out new things to throw at him whenever he plays Mince or Smooth and i'm not present.

I remember seeing that topic on GameFAQs lol. I was just going by how everyone interacts with each other. I was gonna put DG and Mince but didn't want to repeat ppl Also Blaze considers me a rival but since he's not an official member I didn't list him. And we do need more ppl on the list.

how do we even recruit people? I have two friends that are finally getting into the game...but they only have 360's

I can at least have one of them come over once in awhile and play you guys (the other lives in the stupid lands of Georgia) but the one that does live by me, he is absolutely new to it and still has trouble canceling a cr. mk into a fireball, the most basic of combos lol

I gotta hit up Ranked and Endless for random matches and see if I can recruit people (by scouting them of course before letting them in)

Mac was a guy I played in SF4 champ mode back in his runaway Akuma days. He liked my username and I like his so we played some more matches.

Mac was on my friends list somehow but I don't remember...thought I saw him in gamefaqs at one point or another

Lol I remember doing my runaway with akuma with you fei hahahha. I met Mincereth through fei. All you guys are so much fun to play against each day.

I don't play enough to have a rival, every time I get on I play a different person lol, ok, saying that kinda makes me want to get my ass back in gear! I'm gonna attempt a character sig and start jumping back in the chat room

Since he's technically part of DSB, my rival would be Slaynman. Other than that, I just play you guys.

As old as this post is, really? Arn thinks we're rivals too. I suck too much to be a rival.

I've had too many matches with you, and we're pretty much even. I'd say we're rivals.

Oh yeah. I never posted it but the FT10 was all 10 in my favor haha.
