| First! lol We've seen many games on the list but most of them have come and gone (though Black Ops should make it to the list too cause many of us play it). Finally, another game we all share besides SFIV | |

| I'm trying pretty darn hard to make this my new time-waster, but it's proving to be really tough. I've got some bnb's down with wolvy, haggar (he only has like 1 haha), and doom, but i'm having trouble knowing what to do to advance and get in when the opponent is jumping/flying around like a madman. What do? | |

| Use your assists when they're flying everywhere. Or get you someone mobile like Zero or viper so you can chase em down. Or use a zoner to shoot at em all the time. Or use Dante. he has an option for everything. I'm equating him to this game's Ryu so far.
Or get in. launch them, exchange your characters mid combo and get the hyper meter built and chip the balls out of em.

| heh, kind of the same. Basically, my strategy now is... start with wolverine, call doom assist whenever I can, which allows me to get closer, then I just get aggresive as all get out until I notice a hitconfirm, then I just do the same bnb. With haggar, I just keep hitting people in the head with pipes whilst calling doom assist, pray it hits and then go for bnb. With doom...... I just beam all day, and I'm usually effed if they get in on him.
This game is actually really fun, I'm enjoying it way more than I ever did sf4. I'm just horrible, horrible scrubbish at it.
What's your guys' win rate online? i'm like, 50-45 or something like that, and i'm only that good because i've played a lot of people that evidently just bought the game and have no idea how to play hehe.

| I'm like... 15 and 45 online. I keep getting wrecked.
That's not counting the massive winstreaks Macross gets on me.

| I don't really have a percentage yet cause I haven't really played online yet, on PS3 I'm 2-4 (to Mac) and on 360 I'm 18-5 (cause my friends who don't play fighter games don't understand it) | |

| I hate to be one of those bandwagon jumpers, but after seeing justin wong absolutely destroy the world with she-hulk, I'm definitely going to learn her, she looks like a beast. | |

| tron bonne's gustaf flame assist is insane. Mad invincible and sets up awesome combos when paired with wolverine's slide for otg. She also has a really damaging bnb when used with dr. doom's rocks assist. I think I just might have to switch her in for haggar on my team / . If anyone else uses tron, maybe you can give me some pointers. | |

| I starting trying Tron a few days ago. She might be what I need if the current team I have doesn't gel well. I need a heavy hitter to go with my speed (or so I think I do). Hsien-Ko isn't bad either but I can't get used to her dash it really throws me off. Plus her hop walk is bothersome. I doubt I could help you out any but if I figure anything with Tron I'll be sure to post it here. Don't hold your breath tho | |

| Quitting this game... it simply takes too much of my time, time I could spend being productive and persuing my other passions. This game is becoming like ssf4 v2.0, where it becomes the majority of what I do in my free time, preventing me from engaging in other things I find enjoyable. Not that I don't enjoy playing it, because I do, it just seems like such a limiting waste of time where I pour hours and hours into something and achieve essentially nothing other than marginal skill. Not to mention it makes me such a negative nancy, moreso than anything else I do. So I'm trading it in tomorrow to get crysis 2. I'll still see you guys around in the chat. | |

| hahaha giving up already? just keep it and play it casually you damn better continue coming to the chat and chill with us when you get free time let me know how Crysis 2 is, I always wanted to play the first one but I didn't have a good computer to play it (it literally blew up my old computer cause it wasn't strong enough...the game completely laughed at me and made my computer explode in a mushroom cloud) | |

| Nah, me and fighting games don't mix, on account of my addictive personality. I'm not necessarily 'giving up' so much as I'm preventing myself from becoming a shut-in who neglects prior commitments to get better at a game that holds no consequence on my life. I will most assuredly still come around the chat (though we hardly ever seem to be online at the same time :p), and I'll let you know how crysis 2 is. I've heard pretty good things from people I know, and though I'm not the biggest fan of fps games, I am a fan of freedom to choose your own path in a game as well as artistic design, which I'm told crysis 2 has in spades. | |

| I LOVE SSFIV and basically yes, I'm addicted to it, but I don't let it run my life. I'm fully capable of going out, having fun, playing sports, playing different games...just take it in stride (and come back to SSIFV!!!) | |

| This sounds so familiar....Damijer said the same thing to me a while back about SF. He was saying how he was neglecting his other games and felt exactly like you do. You shouldn't focus on your skill level in a game but how much fun you have playing it. The only time you should care about skill level is if you plan on going to a tourney or something, if not its no big deal. Win or lose its still a game. Both SF and MVC3 have taken up alot of my gaming time but it doesn't bother me one bit cuz I have fun and I tend to switch to other games. Like Mince says take it in stride. Stop being so hard on yourself. Also, I'm guessing this is the same reason why you stopped playing SF? | |

| I sorta know how you feel Rude, but it's slightly different for me. Normally, when I start playing a fighting game and get obsessed with it, I just don't feel the urge to play other games even when I want to. Luckily, after going to a couple tournaments and playing like crazy to get ready for them keeps me from obsessing over them like crazy anymore. I picked up Gods Eater: Burst a week ago when it came out, and I'm just now about to finally start playing it thanks to MVC3. | |
