| It's always good to be a just a little random and to mash once in awhile to keep your opponent honest. It'll prevent them from always attacking you on wake up and give you some breather room. Just don't do it too much. A lot of the times I tend to use SRK when playing as Ryu, even from poking distance just in case I might beat out a poke (or I'm at least buffering it waiting for a frame of movement then I mash that punch lol) | |

| A good read, and I'll take it as encouragement to keep doing those wake up ultras! The only reason I don't throw out reversals more often than I already do, is that Vega's reversal isn't much of one and gets beat out by meaties or standing jabs. | |

I know, but the problem is its worked often enough that the habit sticks. Although it works better with Bison's than Vega's, I think the start up time is faster. | |
