Good Movie Recommendations?

I'm running out of good movies to watch. Any good recommendations? :/

lol im into anything entertaining 8D watched zombieland already. haha

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Princess and the Frog, Spirited Away (one of my all time favorite movies)...you know anything by Disney (I'm a Disney freak lol)

i love disney movies too! hahah i used to have the vhs for so many

hahaha we watched dawn of the dinosaurs. i didnt get to watch princess and the frog yet though. spirited away is like leon's favorite.

if you like spirited away you should watch princess mononoke. lol that was pretty good

If you like Studio Ghibli, you should definitely watch Grave of the Fireflies.

It's a great film, but one of the saddest you will ever see.

I liked Princess Mononoke (awesome cast too), I actually have Grave of the Fireflies I think but haven't had the chance to see it yet

Grave of the fireflies actually made me shed a tear...I've never seen a movie that sad before, it really touched me

But for movies...

Sword of the Stranger (decent samuai action movie)
Akira (old classic)
Perfect Blue (really good psychological thriller)
Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade (heard this was good, but haven't seen yet)
Dead Leaves (epic movie!!!)
Now and Then, Here and There (Heard about it, never seen tho)

That's all I could think of atm.

Movie geek here! Seeing how you're like me and like pretty much any genre, I can give loads of suggestions!

Equilibrium (It's a EPIC movie)
Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (It's half mockamentry, half slasher)
Nightwatch and Daywatch (Russia's highest grossing action movies to date...and they happen to be FREAKING AWESOME!)
District B13 (It's a French action movie...and has an angry French rap during the credits)
The Mel Brooks movies (I mean...come on, they're classics if you haven't seen them)
The Princess Bride (I know pretty much everyone has seen it...but I still have to suggest just in case)

Depends on the movie genre:

Action: Nothing beats Terminator 2: Judgement Day or either Kill Bill 1 and/or 2
Comedy: The Princess Bride. My brothers and I have seen it over 250 times combined (DVD and TV of course)
Horror: The Saw series. Or if you want classic horror, pick up Night of the Living Dead or Carrie
Chick Flick: Not really my thing. Take your pick.
Anime: Ghost in the Shell and Akira seem to get the most props. But again, your call if you're into anime. That reminds me (makes note to self: pick up 2nd Bleach movie this weekend)

Or if you want action and comedy in one movie: Pulp Fiction.

I've got a friend who has Netflix, and whenever they suggest a movie for him, he usually takes a look at it. So far it's worked out pretty well for him...and me when he tells me about crazy foreign action movies lol!

The Best foreign movie I've seen is antibodies. Its an awesome french movie. Definitely worth checking out.

Ponyo Is the best Animated movie i've seen so u might wanna check that out.

Also Splinter is a really good movie.

to me, it's not very sad, but it's extremely depressing. >_>

If you like Rachel McAdams, then STATE OF PLAY is good too lol its an action film

WEDDING CRASHERS if you haven't seen it, pretty vulgar and sexually explicit but very funny lol

RADIO, is an old one, me and pat saw it on channel 50, I think and its pretty good, if you're going for an inspirational movie.

Let's rewatch CAST AWAY together sometime too

"Heat" is a very good action/thriller, but it's about 3 hours long

oh and troy just announced another project due in beginning of april some time.

Goodfellas is one of my favorite gangster movies. It's really good. Watch it!

I just saw the hurt locker yesterday. Really good movie.

lolol we just watched Shutter Island, and it's ok. :/

I bought shutter island but I've yet to see it. Justice League 2 worlds in crisis is good. The crime syndicate of america are awesome foils to the Justice League. Ultraman sucks though.

Twilight New moon was ok. I didn't like the ending though. Marry me bella bam movie end credits. *boooooo*. Halloween 2 was cool but it sucks that they showed michael's face.

ugh we're to never see Michael's face! that totally ruins the movie!

I know. Who knew michael looked like the geico caveman. But there's two versions. Apparently I saw the director's cut cause in my version michael doesn't get stabbed in the chest and the face by laurie.
